JORIS WILDENBEEST: Baarn, Utrecht, Netherlands; Joris Wildenbeest was born in the Netherlands in early 1989. He got interested in a variety of visual media during his childhood, and spent many years drawing as a hobby instead of going out and getting drunk. He is currently finishing his last year at the Utrecht School of the Arts. Besides working as a 2D artist for game design and development, he hopes to branch out into illustration in general. Joris uses both computers as well as traditional materials to create illustrations and concept art. He also creates flash graphics, pixelart and textures for 3D games. In his spare time, he enjoys playing both guitar and bass, and performs monthly at local blues-rock jam sessions.
